The return and exchange policy subject has been quite difficult for me. I always debated whether to allow or not the exchanges of panties in my store. On one hand you trust in your product and your patterns and would like to give customers the confidence that they are buying a good product, made with that special passion of handmade things and that never, ever you would want them to loose money because of a mistake. But I always thought about the counterpart: Would anyone buy a slip without the assurance that no one else has tried it before? It is an intimate and delicate topic. It's a matter of hygiene and health and you don't play with that. That's the reason why i had never so far accepted exchanges or returns of these garments.
Well, I have good news!!! Last week I came up with a way to offer exchanges without affecting the hygiene issue. From now on all panties will have an hygienic protector (the one on the picture) so that you can try them out and avoid getting stuck with a slip of a size that does not match and that will be stored at the back of a drawer, probably along with many others. What do you think of this new policy? Does it actually increase your confidence level of buying intimate pieces on-line?
Tips: Even with this hygienic protector, always try out your clothes over other garments, never directly on the skin and never, ever take off the protector before you try on the clothes. If for some reason an item is returned and sold to someone else, it will obviously have a new protector.
El tema de la política de cambios y devoluciones ha sido bastante difícil para mí. Siempre me había debatido entre permitir o no los cambios de braguitas en mi tienda. Por un lado confías mucho en tu producto y tus patrones y quisieras darle a los clientes la confianza de que están comprando un buen producto, hecho con esa pasión especial de las cosas hechas a mano y que nunca, pero nunca, quisieras que por un error perdiera su dinero, pero siempre pesaba más la contraparte: ¿Alguien se compraría una braguita sin la seguridad de que nadie mas se la haya probado antes? Es un tema tan íntimo y delicado!... Es cuestión de higiene y salud y con eso no se juega. Por eso hasta ahora nunca había aceptado cambios o devoluciones de estas prendas.
Pues les tengo buenas noticias!!! la semana pasada se me ocurrió una manera de ofrecer cambios sin que el tema de la higiene se viera afectado. A partir de ahora todas las braguitas llevan un protector (el de la foto) para que las puedas probar y evitar así que tengas que quedarte con una braguita de una talla que no te corresponde y que quedará almacenada en el cajón, al fondo, seguro junto con otras muchas. Que opinas de esta nueva política? Aumenta realmente tu nivel de confianza para comprar piezas íntimas en Internet?
Consejos: Aunque lleven el protector, intenta siempre probarte tus prendas sobre otras prendas. Nunca directamente sobre la piel y nunca, pero nunca, quites el protector antes de probarte las prendas. Si por algún motivo una prenda es devuelta y vendida a otra persona obviamente llevará un nuevo protector.
